  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup crushed butter crackers (like Ritz)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

1- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2- In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
3- Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese.
4- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
5- In a small bowl, combine the crushed butter crackers and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
6- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top of the potato mixture, then sprinkle the butter cracker mixture evenly over the cheese.
7- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
8- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
